Each year John Wesley children fill 150+ Easter baskets for the children at Mary Ford Elementary and those served by Halos. You can leave your donations in the front hall.

We are donating supplies for  the nonprofit dedicated to serving at-risk children. Items being collected include school uniform tops and bottoms, Cantu ethnid hair care products, socks, backpacks and school supplies. Leave donations in the box outside the office. 

No charge —  donations accepted.

Services with the imposition of ashes will be held at 6 PM.

Worship services will follow the same schedule through Lent until Easter Sunday. Traditional worship in the sanctuary takes place at 8:30 and 11 AM. 

The United Methodist Men are sponsoring this 1st Annual Fish Fry in memory of Dave Garner, a committed Christian who demonstrated his discipleship by the way he lived his life. Dine in or take-out available in the Leisure Ministries Room. Cost is $12 for acults; $5 for kids 12 and under.

Menu includes fried fish, hush puppies, cole slaw, red rice and dessert. Hot dogs available for non-fish eaters.

Drop in or set up an appointment to give blood and help address the critically low supply of blood in the Lowcountry.

All children and their parents are welcome to join the annual Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn before the beginning of Holy Week. The Easter Bunny will be there as well as a photographer to capture the magic moments with the children.

The start of Holy Week — the annual Palm Sunday service — features the children of the church processing in and waving palm branches. Services in the santuary are at 8:30 and 11 am. The contemporary service in the Leisure Ministries Room is at 11 am.

The Maundy Thursday communion service reminds us of the Last Supper Jesus had with his disciples before he was betrayed by Judas.

Youth in the church provide a poignant reminder of Good Friday by carrying the three crosses along Savannah Highway as a witness to passersby of the significance of this day.

This somber service closes out Holy Week. The service features the last words of Christ and ends with stripping the altar of all appointments in a darkened sanctuary. The congregation then leaves in silence.

Join us for the most glorious day of the church year. We will have three traditional in the sanctuary.  Services will be 45 minutes to allow for arrivals and departures without creating parking problems. Come and bring your friends and family.
