CAMPAIGN 81: A Note from Rick Jones
Warren Buffett loves compound interest, often comparing it to the snowball that travels down a hill picking up and connecting more snow to grow in size. But the snowball effect of the stock market and other saving vehicles pales in size to the way God compounds things. Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fish and ted 5,000 people with 12 baskets of food left over. Imagine what He plans to do with our tithes and offerings. We are halfway through our Campaign 81 and we are halfway towards our goal. Have you pledged yet?

CAMPAIGN 81: GIFTS
We are halfway through our Campaign 81 capital fund raiser and off to a wonderful start. We have raised over $375K which is getting us close to paying off the loan balance. Over 45 families have committed so far. To those who have pledged, I say, “thank you” and ask that you pray for the success of the campaign. If you have not yet made a commitment, please consider doing so today. God bless the rest of our campaign efforts. Together we can reach our goal!

CAMPAIGN 81: GIFTS
Have you ever sent a nice gift to someone, only to have them improve your gift and give it back to you? Me neither. But that’s exactly what God does with our financial gifts. He does not keep our gifts in the bank. He does not use these gifts for pleasure. He takes what we give Him and improves it and compounds it and grows it and then returns it back to us as another gift. These returned gifts include paying for our church staff, paying for the building infrastructure, maintenance, repairs and improvements, paying the electric and water bills, paying for church programs and paying for the United Methodist Church through apportionments. Your generosity allows God to do all of this.
