Adult Bible Studies – Winter/Spring 2024
John Wesley offers a number of Bible Studies at various times to help people grow their faith within small groups. If you would like to know more about any of these Bible Studies, contact the church office or email info@jwumchurch.org.
Mondays @ 6:30 pm — Courage: Jesus and the Call to Brave Faith-– A 6-week examination of Christ’s true courage and how God works in our lives when we exhibit a brave faith. In progress.
Tuesdays @ 10 AM — Abide: A Study of 1,2 and 3 John — A 10-week exploration of the apostle John’s letters to the early church, challenging us to seek salvation and to abide in the truth. In progress.
Tuesdays @ 6 PM – Disciple 1 — A 12-week study of the Bible, essential to becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. In progress.
Wednesdays @ 6:15 pm — Finding I Am — A 6-week exploration of the Gospel of John that challenges participants to discover the crucial significance behind each of Jesus’ I AM statements. Begins February 7th.
Wednesdays @ 6:15 pm — Every Parent’s Guide to Navigating Our Digital World — A two-session conversation that helps parents think and talk differently about digital media. Begins February 21st.
Wednesdays @ 6:15 pm — Bible Study with Pastor Ken — An on-going exploration of the Bible which meets weekly during Wednesday Night Out.
Sundays @ 9:45 AM — Settings of Silver: An Introduction to Judaism — An eight-week study of Judaism beliefs, customs, traditions and history within the context of the modern world. In progress.
