SPRING ACTIVITIES
CHILDREN
March 15 – Signups for Vacation Bible School 2024 are open. Registration for children ages 4-current 5th grade. VBS will take place July 22-26 from 9-12. Access registration here to sign-up and review additional information.
Signups for Summer 2024 Sports Camp are also open. Registration is for children ages 4 year old through 8th grade. Summer 2024 Sports Camp will take place on July 15-18 from 5:00 – 8:00. Access registration here to sign-up and review additional information.
March 23 – Easter Egg Hunt in the LMR/Gym starting at 10 AM

Sunday Night meetings weekly (dinner & small group sessions) — Dinner begins 5:15pm
Confirmation Classes – 9:30 AM Sundays – March 10 and April 14
Youth Choir – Wednesdays – 6-7 PM – Sanctuary
March 29 — Youth cross walk at 1 PM. (The youth carry the cross down Savannah Highway as a reminder of the meaning of Good Friday.)
May 19 – Confirmation Sunday. (Youth in these classes will need to schedule a one-on-one meeting with Pastor Ken in April.)
June 2 – Graduation Sunday
SUMMER ACTIVITIES
Day School Camp Session 1 – June 17-21
Day School Camp Session 2 – July 8-12
Montreat Music and Worship Camp (June 23-29) – Open to any youth who is active in our Music Ministry during the year (meets on Wednesday Night). We will take children (currently in 3rd grade and older), youth and adults!
Salkehatchie Summer Service (TBD) – A week-long mission project in rural South Carolina open to any youth who is 14 years old by the date camp starts. The youth and adults from multiple churches work on home repair. Youth Minister David Boudolf recommends three camps:
- Edisto Island July 6-13 (Camp director – Jimi Whitesell)
- Fairfield (Winnsboro) July 13-20 (Camp director – Frank Gravely)
- Dalzell July 20-27 (Camp director – Christian Huettman)
Bahamas Summer Mission Trip (TBD) – A week-long summer trip to Eleuthera Bahamas to serve alongside the people on the island.
Benchwarmers 2024 – July 29-31 – Going to Tampa to do mission work and go to a major league baseball game. Open to all current 5th-8th graders.
