On October 27, the John Wesley UMC parking lot will be transformed into a headquarters for ghosts, spidery veils, skeletons and other scary stuff for the annual Trunk or Treat — a tradition sponsored by the John Wesley UMC Youth Group for neighborhood children and others who want to have some fun and pick up some candy.
Scheduled to start at 5 pm, Trunk or Treat an annual activity where church folks decorate their cars, trunks or tailgates and give out candy and other treats to children who want an early and safe place to get some treats.
Everyone is welcome. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and and invite friends to join them as they go from car to car to scare or charm people for some candy.
Youth Director David Boudolf says youth should arrive around 4:30 to help set up before the fun begins at 5 pm.
